this is a very common habit in our dental clinic which is really annoying everyone .. not just the clinics but the university as well .. we have proffesionals at it ,, at the beginning of the year one of the doctors warned us about these incidents and he said he heard of a lot of missing stuff coz he noticed alot of girlz leaving their personal handbag on the bench and of course alot of people just didn't pay attention or considered the matter seriously and unfortunately they were the victims .. anything can be taken from the small stuff like soap lol --> i had to buy like 3 soaps this year coz it just disappears :P .. to valuable things such as your articulator or hand peice :S and everything you leave behind in the drawers .. what's more pissing is that if you leave your hand bag on the bench for like five minutes without keeping an eye on it .. definitely you'll find your wallet missing :S either the whole wallet or the money inside it ,,, and god what a fuss if you're trying to get new cards for the bank , ID cards .... etc ... and you can never know who took it coz you don't have a clue who's been there ,, and of course after they took the wallet they won't be stupid enough to wait until you discover their doing lol ,, they'll just vanish .. coz most probably they've been watching you and waiting for the exact moment that you're out of sight so they would take that opportunity .. even if you suspected anyone you don't have evidence and you can't proove it .. other than wallets .. one of the girlz her whole bag was stolen ,, cameras ,, external hard disks .. USBs .. make up kits .. and of course the first target is your cell phone :P .. and this is the system's fault coz i think there isn't enough security measures and precautions ,, they should put surveillance cameras everywhere like they did in the general hospital so everyone will be monitored .. if anything happened they would at least have a record of what really happened .. i wish something would be done about it !!
