I'm a SUPERVISOR.. should I be LATE?!

At any given day.. anyone of us will wake up early in the morning.. get dressed.. scrubs of course.. come to school.. attend the lecture.. & set off to the clinic.. everything is set.. Infection control.. Instruments.. Lab Work.. Patient.. You!!
But still something/Someone is missing?!!.. So you wait & wait & wait!
it's almost half way through the sessions' working hours.. still not there!
So you eventually give up & you either start working on your own or ask an unassigned supervisor to check your work.. then the real problem begins!
He/She either doesn't like your work & wants some adjustments or simply tells you to go to your original assigned one who doesn't exist!
And once your supervisor appears out of  no where.. you hear the bells that cry out: "DISMISS YOUR PATIENTS!!"

Seriously.. they try to teach us the concept of not being late.. to attend the lectures on time.. 8:00 am or 1:00 pm sharp.. but they themselves lack this discipline!! You don't demand something.. you yourself DON'T do!
The time we waste on waiting in lines or wondering around searching for the "missing without a trace person" is so much & gets to a point that's very frustrating!
Sometimes a procedure that might have took only half an hour.. takes literary two hours! for God's sake! Our patients are people too.. they have families.. homes.. work.. like anyone of us!.. not because they can't afford to pay for private dental care means that ANYONE should make their dental experience more difficult!!

They teach us so many things that we don't see in them.. if these people are supposed to be our role models & we see them do this.. do you think we'll be any different in the future??..

Being a SUPERVISOR.. big or small.. does NOT give you the right to be late.. when it's time it's time! everything stops.. your job in these three hours is to be by my side.. teaching me.. guiding me.. giving me hints & tips.. NOT.. talking on the phone.. saying hi to long lost friends.. meeting with representatives.. giving consultations to other students.. interns.. board students!!! In these three hours.. you are my mentor.. nothing else!

Or is there another definition for the word.. SUPERVISOR ???

not satisfied .. what should i do??

I was faced with a situation that i was confused wether i should be happy i'm finally done or i should reconsider repeating my work all over again .. a complete denture patient !!
This is my worst nightmare .. the worst type of them are the ones who has a bag full of dentures and always need new ones coz they are not comfortable with theirs ..
After wasting all of these sessions with the steps for constructing a complete denture , at the day of insertion the patient showed disapproval of the denture .. she started pointing out to me that it's painful and she's not comfortable with it .. i started removing the points of intereferences and pressure .. finally she said it's okay but i can see the look of discomfort in her face .. and i'm pretty sure she did say that because she was afraid of my supervisor lol .. of course i got my requirement but still i don't feel good about it .. am i being extra sensitive about it?? or should i be happy i finished a complete denture case? ...
i know it's a learning hospital and the patients do sign a conscent about being treated by students .. i do beleive we should try to give them the best treatment .. like the example of this patient .. alot of students wouldn't give a damn about her .. as long she got her reaquirment paper signed ..
And what's really sad is that when i called my complete patient from last year .. she told me she threw my denture away :S:S she didnt even bother to use it :(( ..
something is definately wrong with removable lool .. or maybe i'm just unlucky with this subject =P
